AI Chat Bot

Overview

The AI Chat Bot is a smarter version of the Chat Bot, available on both Twitch and Kick. Instead of picking lines from a list, your chatters actually watch the stream, listen to it, read the chat, and talk about what is happening right now.

They write in your stream's own language. If you stream in French, chat is in French. If your chat switches to English mid-stream, they switch too. Nothing to configure, nothing to translate, no message list to write.

You turn it on from the Chatters panel of your channel, pick how many chatters you want, and press Start. Everything else is automatic.

No message list

You never write a single line. Every message is written for the moment it is sent.

Never repeats itself

No looping through the same twenty sentences for hours. Your chat reads differently every session.

Talks to real viewers

When somebody in your chat says something, your chatters answer them.

What It Understands

A normal chat bot is blind and deaf: it has no idea what you are doing. The AI Chat Bot follows your stream the same way a regular viewer does.

It hears you

It listens to what you say out loud, so chat can answer your questions, react to your jokes and pick up on the story you are telling.

It sees your screen

The game you are playing, the score, the video you are watching, the message you have on screen. Chat talks about what is actually in front of them.

It follows the chat

It reads every message in your chat, real viewers included, and stays on whatever subject the room is on.

It remembers your channel

Your habits, your running jokes, the things that happened on earlier streams. Returning chatters sound like regulars, not like strangers who just arrived.

The memory is per channel and it builds up on its own. The longer you run it, the more your chat sounds like a community that has been there for a while.

How Your Chatters Behave

  • They answer real viewers. When somebody talks to one of them, or asks the room a question, they reply to that person by name.
  • They react when you call them out.Say a chatter's name, or read their message out loud, and they answer you back like a viewer would.
  • They use your emotes. Your channel emotes, and the ones your chat already uses, when they actually fit the message.
  • They write like your chat writes. Short lines, lowercase, the slang your room uses. They match the register of the channel instead of sounding like a press release.
  • They keep things going when chat is quiet. Dead air is where new viewers leave. Your chatters start something instead of letting the room go silent.
  • They talk to each other. Not everybody says the same thing at once: they agree, disagree and joke between themselves, so it reads like a room, not a feed.

Tip: the manual chat box still works while the AI Chat Bot runs. Open your channel menu, pick a username and type a message yourself whenever you want to steer the conversation. See Individual Chat Control.

Settings

There are only three things to set. Everything else takes care of itself.

SettingWhat it does
ChattersHow many accounts take part in the conversation. More chatters means more usernames and a busier chat.
PacingSlow, Regular or Fast: how talkative they are. This also sets the credit rate, since a quieter chat writes fewer messages.
PersonalityChill, Hype or Funny: the vibe most of them take.

Pacing

Slow

Calm chat with occasional messages. Good for smaller streams, where a wall of text would look wrong.

1,200 credits/hour + 12 per chatter

Regular

A natural pace that fits most streams. This is the one to start with.

1,400 credits/hour + 20 per chatter

Fast

Lively chat with more messages and more reactions. Best for busy moments and bigger rooms.

1,750 credits/hour + 32 per chatter

The three rates sit close together because watching and listening to your stream costs the same whichever pacing you pick. Only the messages your chatters write move the bill, so Slow saves you credits without changing what they understand. The panel always shows the exact rate for the pacing you have selected before you press Start.

Personality

Chill

Relaxed and conversational. Fits Just Chatting, cosy streams and long sessions.

Hype

Loud and excited. Fits competitive games, clutch moments and big announcements.

Funny

Jokes, banter and bits. Fits variety streams and anything where chat is part of the show.

Personality sets the vibe that most of your chatters take, not all of them. A room where everybody has the exact same energy does not look like a real chat, so there is always some variety.

Both can be changed while a session is running. Switch from Chill to Hype when the tournament final starts, or drop to Slow when you go into a quiet segment. The change applies within seconds, without stopping and restarting anything.

AI Chatbot Credits

The AI Chat Bot runs on AI Chatbot Credits. They are separate from the chatters included in your plan, so turning the AI on does not eat into your normal chatter allowance.

  • Every plan includes a batch of credits, refreshed on each renewal. They belong to that plan: the new term replaces whatever the last one had left, and they end with the plan.
  • Credit bundles can be bought at any time, on top of your plan. These are yours to keep: they stack, they never expire, and a session spends your plan's credits before it touches them.
  • One balance for both platforms: the same credits work on Kick and on Twitch.
  • Credits are only spent while a session is actually running and listening to your stream. Nothing is charged when it is off.
  • The rate depends on the pacing you pick and on how many chatters you run: a calm room costs less per hour than a busy one.
  • A session stops by itself when the balance runs out. It never goes negative and you are never billed by surprise.

Your balance and the current rate per hour are shown in the Chatters panel the moment you turn the AI on, so you always know how long a session will last before you press Start.

Good to Know

A few things worth knowing before your first session.

Your stream has to be live

There is nothing to watch or listen to when you are offline, so the AI Chat Bot only runs on a live channel. If you want it to start on its own, use Auto-Start and it will kick in when you go live.

Subscriber-only and emote-only chat

Your chatters will not talk in subscriber-only or emote-only chat. Turn those modes off while the session runs. Follower-only chat is different: use the Follower Bot first to build a pool of accounts that follow your channel.

What they will never do

  • They never say they are a bot, an AI or anything of the sort, whatever anyone asks them.
  • They stay friendly. They do not insult, mock or pile on anyone, including viewers who try to bait them.
  • They do not spoil the moment. No commenting on a play before it happens, no reading ahead of your stream.

FAQ

Yes. The AI Chat Bot runs on both platforms, and your AI Chatbot Credits are a single balance you can spend on either one.
Yes. Pacing and Personality can both be changed on a running session and apply within seconds, so you can go Hype for a big moment and back to Chill afterwards without restarting.
It depends where they came from. The credits included with a plan belong to that plan: each renewal gives you that term's batch again rather than adding to the last one, and they end when the plan does. Credits you buy as a bundle are yours permanently, they stack, and a session always spends the plan's credits first so the ones that would be lost go first.
The Chat Bot sends messages from a list you write. The AI Chat Bot writes its own, based on what is happening on your stream and in your chat, and answers real viewers. The classic Chat Bot is included in your plan; the AI one runs on credits.
Whatever language your stream is in. It picks the language up from you and from your chat, and follows along if the room switches during the stream. You do not set it anywhere.
The session stops by itself and nothing else changes: your other bots keep running and you are never charged beyond your balance. Top up from the pricing page and start it again.
Yes. Save the AI Chat Bot as an Auto-Start and it will start on its own next time you go live, with the chatters, pacing and personality you saved, as long as you have credits.

Next Steps

Compare it with the classic Chat Bot if you prefer writing your own message list, add the Viewer Bot so there is an audience to match the conversation, or grab credits on the pricing page.
